Cable Management Anchors for Round Telescope Barrels

Tidy up your cables with these peel-and-stick zip tie anchors, built to conform onto curved scopes or flat rails with their compliant foam backing. 

The maximum curvature they can adhere to depends on the cleanliness of the surface before application and the environment (temperature, humidity, etc) in which you store your scope. But we've had success sticking these around the barrel of small refractor telescopes.

Application Tips

• Determine your desired position and orientation of the cable management anchor. Note that zip ties will be oriented through the hole, so cables will route parallel to the length of the anchor.
• Clean the surface with one of the included isopropyl alcohol wipes.
• Peel the backing off of the foam adhesive and apply.
• Press on the top of the anchor with your thumb for 10 seconds.

Removal Tips

• Peel the anchor off. Using a hair dryer to preheat the area can aid in a clean removal.
• Any remaining foam or adhesive can be softened by soaking it in isopropyl alcohol and scraping with a plastic blade. Acetone works even better, but may damage some surfaces (especially certain plastics, so use this at your own risk).
