Return Policy & Warranty for nrStellar
At nrStellar, we want you to be fully satisfied with your 3D printed astrophotography gear. Below are the details on our returns, refunds, exchanges, and warranties. Products purchased through a third-party retailer may also be eligible for return under their store policy, which might differ from ours. You are welcome to choose whether to process your return through us under our policy or through the retailer under theirs.
Warranty Duration
All nrStellar products are covered by a 2-year warranty starting from the date of purchase.
Eligibility for Returns
All products are eligible for return within 30 days of package delivery. Products are returnable even if they show signs of use. Custom-made products are returnable only if they were not built according to the instructions and dimensions you provided. Returns based on late arrival are accepted only if we take longer than five business days to ship your order. Products damaged through customer misuse are not eligible for a refund.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, contact us through the nrStellar contact form. Include your order number and the items you want to return.
- Return Shipping Costs:

- If the return is due to our mistake (e.g., the product doesn’t function as advertised, has a manufacturing defect, broke during normal use, or arrived damaged), we will cover the return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to customer error (e.g., wrong product ordered, change of mind), you will cover the return shipping costs.
Refunds, Exchanges, and Restocking Fees
- We offer refunds, exchanges, or discounts on future purchases up to the value of your original purchase price. Refunds will be issued in USD.
- Original shipping charges are refunded only if we make an error in the order. Import fees are non-refundable.

Restocking Fees:
- A 20% fee applies to used items returned due to customer error.
- No restocking fees apply if we are at fault.
Damaged or Defective Products
We’ll make it right if your product arrives damaged or defective. We may offer a repair or fix that could be quicker and more convenient than a full return or replacement, but you are always entitled to a refund or replacement should you rather not attempt a repair. Products damaged through customer misuse are not eligible for a refund.
Design Updates
If we no longer carry the exact model you ordered, we’ll offer the updated design as a replacement or a refund. In some cases, we may let you keep the product and issue a refund without requiring a return.
Transferable Warranty
Warranties are transferrable as long as the original proof of purchase is provided. If a product changes ownership, the new owner can still use the warranty by presenting the original receipt or order confirmation. The new owner will inherit the remaining duration of the original warranty.
