Our rear ring is specifically designed to support astronomy cameras with either a 78mm or 90mm diameter. Made from durable carbon fiber-reinforced PETG, this ring offers excellent rigidity and weather resistance. The weatherproof padding ensures a secure grip on your camera, while the stainless steel threaded connections provide reliable and durable mounting.
If you plan on supporting your entire rig using just these rings, we recommend ordering a pair. We do not recommend using these rings to solely support anything larger than a small lens, though, as hanging all of the weight off of your camera can introduce tilt and flexure in your images.
Note: Please pick the camera ring that corresponds to your camera diameter. 78 mm fits the ZWO 533, 585, 1600, 294, and the 183 Pro Series. Whereas 90 mm fits the ZWO 2600, 6200, 2400 Pro Series and the QHY 533, 268, and 600 Series.
